If your home has wooden decks or porches, they require staining, sanding, or painting to keep them in good shape. However, the newest material being used is composite decking, which holds off stains, fading and mold better than pressure treated wood. This means composite decking can be a huge time saver when it comes to cleaning and maintenance.
Classes begin Wednesday, April 26 at Verani Realty’s Portsmouth office
If you are in the market to buy a home, you may see this experience like you are the customer, and the seller’s home is the store. This may make you assume that whatever you want to do while viewing someone’s home is acceptable. After all, the customer is always right — right?
Earth Day isn’t just about the outdoors – our indoor environments have an impact on sustainability too. Beyond the products you use and the food you eat, what about your living space itself? Is it the right size for your needs, or do you have too much space? Do you want a different or more compact lifestyle than the one you have now? With the Boston Marathon less than a week away, it got me thinking about some of my favorite races and how I was talked into participating in my first race. I never used to run for sport (or fun for that matter), however, a few years ago I ran my first 5k and I was instantly hooked. The first few years I pretty much stayed at a 5K level. I still needed to figure out how to pace myself so I could breathe and not suffer debilitating side stitches. I soon graduated from 5Ks to 5 milers and even threw in a few trail runs. From there I propelled into the 10 milers and half marathons and then decided why not throw some obstacles races into the mix …you know, just for fun.
